What an amazing experience!! Absolutely loved every bit of being here. Food was amazing, the drink options were great and the staff was on top of it. Such talented performers!! Will definitely be back, a lot!
Went for the Rocky Horror Picture Show. The food was good and they served very large portions. Had to get a to go box. Staff were friendly, and accommodating drinks were tasty! The show was awesome! Cast was great! Had a fun time!
The performances are amazing! The last show I attended was Rocky Horror. Food and drinks are pretty good, too. My only disappointment is that the seating is way too close and they don't seat people together who came together. Spent $400.00 to get separate seating.
Went for Sunday Gospel Brunch and had a great time! Definitely need a good sense of humor to attend. I got the breakfast burger and it was pretty good.
We went for dinner and theater, Rocky Horror. All I can say was the food was excellent (I kept my eye ball & smile every time I see it in my car). My face hurt from laughing so much. It was the best date night I've had in a while. A place where EVERYONE is accepted, no judgement just joy.
Most fun we've had in a long time! Excellent food, service and show! A little crowded and seating was too comfortable but didn't notice!
So much fun!! The show was an absolute BLAST! 🤩 The food was delicious as well, like gourmet quality. It was such a great time that we're planning on revisiting soon.
Again, I must say it’s very segregated. People of color are not welcomed at these type of establishments. I have been coming to 39 for over 57 years I have never seen it so segregated in my life. My best friend, Tony Sinclair, and his loving husband probably will be turning over in their grave to see how 39th has changed. All the clubs are carbon copies of one another. They do not play any R&B, hip-hop or any kind of music of that type. Basically they do not play anything of people of color. Listen to the clubs are just solid to say is really bad. I have been gay all my life and I have never in my my God-given gears on earth experience the racism that I seem to experience oh 39. I don’t know how to describe this when I first started coming to 39 when I was a teenager when the rec room was open we had so much fun. It slowly, but surely they stored facing people of color out of any kind of activities. And I hate to say that, but it’s the truth.
